Summer Jams Concert Series: The Gumbo Brothers

Sunday, July 8, 6-8 p.m.

Join the Ocean Institute and Music Preserves Foundation for a fun-filled summer night enjoying an outdoor concert with the harbor and the ocean as the backdrop. The event will feature live music, food trucks, and Station Craft Beer. Enjoy learning more about the musicians with Music Preserves Foundation before the show begins and explore the touch tanks with Ocean Institute docents.

Proceeds for the event will support the two foundations. Tickets are $25.

Tiny Beautiful Things is a play about reaching when you're stuck, healing when you're broken, and finding the courage to take on questions that have no answers. Due to subject matter, this show is recommended for mature audiences. Admission is $28.

YOGA ON THE FARM

The Ecology Center is providing this outdoor yoga session with yogi Diana Christinson and teachers from Pacific Ashtanga Yoga Shala. PLANT A POLLINATOR GARDEN

The Dana Point Library will host a series of events throughout the day, starting with the Plant a Pollinator Garden, where participants can learn more about pollinators and how to support them for a healthy eco system with UCCE Orange County Master Gardeners and the Friends of the Library. Color bowls and plants are provided. Adults and teens 12 and older can register for the free event at the Service Desk. The Color Happy Kids Coloring Club will run from 2-3:30 p.m. when coloring sheets plus hundreds of coloring pencils, crayons, markers, gel pens and more will be provided. And from 2-4 p.m., the library will screen Playground, a 2022 award-winning film from Belgium. Nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 2022 Academy Awards.
