Launch San Clemente Guide, a destination website and media platform.

Strategic Partnership Creates Visitor-Focused Destination Site/Channels for San Clemente and Neighboring Towns

 

SAN CLEMENTE, CA—Picket Fence Media, owner and publisher of award-winning community media platforms San Clemente Times, Dana Point Times and The Capistrano Dispatch, has formed a strategic partnership with San Clemente Digital Marketing to create a robust Destination Website and Media Platform, SanClementeGuide.com, for San Clemente and neighboring cities of Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano. PFM CEO Norb Garrett made the announcement with San Clemente Digital Marketing owner Erik Jacobson.

 

The new site—www.sanclementeguide.com--launches formally on June 15, 2021. There is also an Instagram site @sanclementeguide.

 

San Clemente Guide will highlight the best San Clemente has to offer for visitors and residents alike—from hotels and lodging, dining and shopping options, sporting activities such as golfing and surfing, to museums and art events. Targeting regional, national and global visitors and holidaymakers, SanClementeGuide.com will provide users with a direct hotel booking capability plus links to local businesses, restaurant reservations, event and special activity information and area maps. It will also feature sections on Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano and will feature hotlinks directly to San Clemente Times, Dana Point Times and The Capistrano Dispatch.

 

San Clemente Times content will power the platform, leveraging fresh stories as well as content from its annual Best of San Clemente “Reader Poll” Awards, special sections and archives. Users will be able to access SanClementeGuide.com from the San Clemente Times’ nav bar and links.

 

“The launch of this site and partnership underscores our commitment to strengthening our community and local businesses,” said Garrett, the founder and owner of San Clemente Times and Picket Fence Media. “We have so much to showcase here in San Clemente, so we felt it was important—especially coming out of the pandemic and the economic hardships it created—to invest in creating a digital showcase for visitors who are hoping to enjoy the bounties our Spanish Village by the Sea offers.”

 

San Clemente Digital Marketing is a local company started by digital entrepreneur Erik Jacobson. Jacobson leads strategic digital marketing efforts for an area hospitality management company. He started SanClementeGuide.com in 2014 as a passion project to showcase his love of the community and best things to do in San Clemente. Erik is excited to partner with San Clemente Times and San Clemente Guide’s offerings.
